Beavers, Cubs & Scouts

There are 98 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in the 4th Letchworth St. Paul’s Scout Group making it one of the strongest and most popular groups in the district. Their activities have been many and varied this year, games tournaments, dragon boat racing, camping, County swimming, quiz nights, the Gang Show and raising money for Children in Need and Comic Relief, to name but a few.

Cubs have worked on many badges ranging from Air activities to World Faith and have again planted the concrete tubs outside the Church hall. Six scouts have been presented with their Chief Scout Gold and visitors on Scout nights have included reptiles (and their keepers) from the Japanese Koi Company.

All this is a direct result of the enthusiastic and committed team of leaders. If any of the church congregation are able to offer skills or help with any group please speak to Paul Birdsall or Carolyn Nunnington.
