 Office Hours

Please note that between the beginning of September and the end of December the office hours will be changing slightly, they will be Monday: 9.15am-1.45pm, Tuesday: 9.15am-12.45pm, Wednesday: 9.15am-1.45pm, Thursday: 9.15am-1.15pm, Friday 9.15am-12.45pm

Thank you

A big thank you to all who ate and helped at the hope Cafe on Monday, you raised £717 for aids sufferers in Africa.

Harvest Gifts

This year both churches will be donating their Harvest produce to Hitchin Sanctuary. They have requested basic food, such as tins of fruit, mince, rice, tuna, beans, spaghetti as well as tea coffee, sugar and biscuits.

Visitor

Charles Semwaga, an evangelist from Rwanda whom we will be supporting in future, hopes to be coming to UK in September, and to visit us on the 26. Please pray that the trip will go smoothly - our last news is that he has been refused a visa!
There will be a bring a share lunch on 26 September at 1.00pm. If you are planning to come, please let me know beforehand (686929 or jeremy.goodwyn@ntlworld.com). We need to know how many are coming as this will determine the venue.

 St Michael’s Patronal Festival

This will take the form of Group Evensong on 26 September at 6.30pm, preacher Anne Jenkins, and a Sung Eucharist on 29 September at 7.30pm, preacher Jackie Halter.

“Healthy Church” Study groups

During September and October St Paul’s and All Saints’ will be following a sermon series on being a healthy church. We hope that as many as possible will follow the same material in small groups for discussion and Bible study during the week. If you’d like to be part of a group, please see Simon or Louise.

Wednesday 8 September, 8-9.00pm.A meeting for both St Paul’s and All Saints’ in preparation for the Healthy Church Sermon series and group work.


The Children’s Society

We are holding a collection in Letchworth town centre on Saturday 12 September in the morning and are looking for volunteers to spend an hour collecting on behalf of the society. If you are able to help please contact Nigel Woodbridge on 01462 480520. Thank you.
